Property Access

  • Access to this home is via all paved roads, with a paved driveway. The driveway has a moderate incline that wraps around to the parking area, so 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March).
  • Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
  • The garage is available for guest use.

Policies and Rules

  • This property does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time, including outdoor spaces.
  • Bona fide service animals with appropriate certification may be permitted, and the presence of a certified service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in.
  • Misrepresenting a pet as a certified service animal is a crime under North Carolina law.
  • Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $500 extra cleaning fee to remove pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery.
  • If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee, and you will be evicted without refund of unused days.
  • No smoking allowed.
  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.

Fees and Payments

  • Firewood for the fireplace or firepit may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
  • Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
  • Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Parking Information

  • The driveway has a moderate incline; 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March).
  • The garage is available for guest use.
  • Free parking is available.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Towels and linens will be provided.
  • Hair dryer provided.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • There is one exterior doorbell security camera mounted beside the front door and one camera in the garage pointed at the garage door to monitor the driveway.
  • Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are provided.
